Hawzah News Agency- the Head of Iran’s Seminary Ayatollah Alireza Arafi during his trip to Russia met with the Mufti of Tatarstan. During this meeting he stated that we believe solving the problems of Muslims, especially the Muslims of Palestine, depends on the realization of Islamic unity, and based on this logic, we defend the oppressed people of Palestine and pay the price for it.

He added,” Of course, if the Islamic countries unite against the Zionist regime and boycott Israel economically, cut off their relations, and condemn the actions of the Zionist regime by international forums, the problem of the Palestinian Muslims will be solved.”

The head of Iran’s Seminary continued to say that the discourse and theory of the Islamic revolution negates the melting into the western culture and on the other hand, it also rejects any kind of extremism.

A member of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution added, "Civilization must be formed based on dialogue, understanding, convergence and peaceful coexistence, especially in the Islamic world. Following the Islamic Revolution, our country has seen rapid growth in universities and scientific centers and seminaries in terms of offering different courses.”

“There have been important developments in the field of academic and Islamic sciences and we have taken important steps in this regard.”

During this meeting, Mufti of Tatarstan welcomed Ayatollah Arafi, saying,” We are ready to expand religious and Islamic cooperation with Islamic centers in Iran.”

“We do not have a problem with any of the Islamic religions, although we are against the Wahhabis because of their deceit and harshness.” He noted.

At the end of this meeting, Ayatollah Arafi visited the departments of the Mufti Department of Kazan and the mosque of this department.
